On July 13 and 14, Vleeshal organized a special program for and with participants of the Varende Broedplaats. The Varende Broedplaats is a residency and workshop trajectory for young people, that took place on sailboat the Vrijbuiter from July 12 to 20, 2024. During their stay, the participants made artistic interventions on the boat while sailing to various harbors in Zeeland. They also came to Middelburg, where we organized a special public program on July 14.

The program will started with an introduction about the Varende Broedplaats, after which Theun Karelse, affiliated with the embassy of the Northsea, gave an interactive lecture. We ended the evening with different theatrical interventions by the participants of the Varende Broedplaats, accompanied by Groep Horizon.
