Jerry Hunt was born in 1943 in Waco, Texas. He studied piano and composition at North Texas State University (Stefan Bardas, Samuel Adler). Until 1969 he was a professional pianist, work with contemporary American and European composers and additionally producing his own work. Between 1966-1975, he and Toni Beck Bosmer produced various works for dance and theater, including works for CBS TV and the National Ballet of Ireland.

The performance of Jerry Hunt on Friday April 1, 20.00 in Middelburg, marks the start of his first European tour. This tour and the publication to be released on this occasion came about in collaboration with the Apollohuis in Eindhoven.
