'The Leisure Society' was the outcome of an exceptional collaboration between De Vleeshal and Dutch broadcasting company VPRO. The Leisure Society centred around the booming leisure industry. 'The Leisure Society' was closely linked to the television documentary 'De Vrijetijdszone' (The Leisure Zone), which was broadcast on the night of the exhibition’s opening.
