In 2016, Vleeshal participated for the second time in Popronde Middelburg. The official opening took place at Vleeshal Markt on November 10 at 19:30 with Peter Slager from BLØF and the Middelburg based band PEER. The Yukon Club performed afterwards. The Yukon Club makes a 'danceable' kind of immersive music on the edge of indie and electro, mixing synthesizers, guitars, throbbing drumbeats and polyphonic vocals.

Hailing from Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the four guys which form The Yukon Club received international attention in the summer of 2015 with their debut single Absence; a warm indietronica song with compelling vocals. As a newcomer in the Dutch musical landscape, their single was chosen as ‘Hit of the Week’ at radio stations Radio Mortale and IndieXL. The Yukon Club has also received significant airtime at radio stations such as 3FM and Pinguinradio. In early 2016, The Yukon Club released a follow-up to their single, named Absence EP. This release was celebrated with an impressive live performance in Paradiso, Amsterdam.
