Popronde is a nationwide traveling festival that takes place every autumn, from September to November, in around 40 cities across the country. Popronde 2024 took place on November 21 at various special locations in Middelburg. The official opening of Popronde Middelburg was held in the Vleeshal, with an opening speech by alderman Rutger Schonis.

After the opening, visitors could enjoy music in our exhibition space. This year, the musical collective Future Husband performed at the Vleeshal.
