On March 8, it’s the annual International Women’s Day, and you can attend various activities across the country. In Zeeland, an art route will take place around the theme ‘Women in Art’. This route takes place in Beveland and Walcheren in different galleries, museums, and art institutions. At each location, a special program will be held to celebrate International Women’s Day.

In honor of International Women’s Day, entrance at Vleeshal will be free on March 8 and 9, from 11am to 5pm. You are warmly invited to visit the exhibition ‘The Directions’ by Hannah Black on either of these days. On both days, there will be free guided tours of the exhibition from 12pm to 4pm. During these tours, you’ll learn more about Black's work and her role as a woman, mother, and artist.
